Cayo Santa Maria, which is decided by UNESCO as a biological protected habitat, is located to the far west in the island group of Jardines del Rey, (the Kings Garden) on the northern coast of Cuba.
To get there by car you must use the 48 kilometer man built sea road which connects the island with the mainland. A true wonder in itself. The island group also have their own little airport, located at the island Las Brujas. The Santa Maria beach is a kilometer long sandy paradise which is perfect for relaxation, sunbathing and all the activities of naval sort (Diving, snorkeling, catamaran sailing and much more.) The area is also good for family vacations.
